Irish marathon swimmers Nuala Moore and Anne Marie Ward packed their goggles and ditched their heavy coats as they headed for a warmer adventure to Tunisia.

The two extreme swimmers joined Nejib Belhedi, who won the 2011 World Open Water Swimming Performance Of the Year award, on a few stage swims during his swim of peace along the Tunisian coastline.

It is great to see the common threads of open water swimmers get sewn together by their love of the sea.
