Former Pool Coach Swims To A National 10K Title

Retired teacher and coach Ralph Mohr is a pool and open water swimmer from Oregon who won his age group division in the 10 km U.S. Masters Swimming national open water swimming championships.

The 71-year-old dynamo swam a swift 3 hours 10 minutes race.

I was fine for the first three loops. The last lap was 3 minutes slower than the rest, when my asthma kicked in a bit. It was a good swim overall.”
