Tim Poullain-Patterson is organising a 3 km swim around Skellig Michael in 2013.

Skellig Michael, located 11.6 km west of the Iveragh Peninsula in County Kerry, Ireland in the Atlantic Ocean, offers a swim not for the faint of heart. “It is a really scary place,” explains Ned Denison who is the only human in history to have managed this part of the world. “The cold water up-welling and plenty of nature with dolphins and hundreds of thousands of birds from the sister island.”
