It is always disappointing to see trash on any beach.

Nearly one ton of cigarette butts are left on the beaches of Orange County, California each year with 62% of the butts from Marlboro brands (vs. 7% Camel and 7% Benson & Hedges).

The butts are non-biodegradable and contain toxins and harmful chemicals that damage the marine environment. No if, ands or butts about that.
