Colin Hill completed a one mile ice swim today in water under 5ºC. He did it in Winderemere in 24 minutes 22 seconds with snow visible on the mountain tops.

I kept my stroke rate very high to keep body temperature up,” explains Hill who traveled one mile out from the Low Wood Bay Marina, jumped out of a boat and swam back to shore. “There was a medic and 3 support team with me. It took around one hour to recover after the swim.”
