Michael Ventre from Botswana added another notch to his impressive open water swimming resume last month.

The English Channel (15 hours 18 minutes) and Molokai Channel (22 hours 30 minutes) swimmer has endurance in his blood (#31 on the Oceans Seven list), ice in his veins (Winter Swimming World Championships) with courage to boot (Robben Island to Blouberg in 2 hours 33 minutes) buoyed by a charitable spirit (raising money for Save the Children, World Food Program, and The Hunger Project).
