Margarita Tita Llorens Begur will begin her Cross Channel Ibiza-Mallorca Challenge (Cruce Canal Ibiza-Mallorca) at 5 pm on July 23rd.

Her attempt is an 83 km (51.5 mile) crossing from Ibiza to Mallorca in the Mediterranean Sea. She previously completed the Menorca Channel (Canal de Menorca) that stretches between the Balearic islands of Menorca and Mallorca in 12 hours 23 minutes back in July 2012.
