Sighting At Night With An Umbrella

Spread the love

We noticed the Shiny Umbrellas sold in Japan that use four AA batteries to light up and have an ON/OFF switch available on the handle. The “Fashion Umbrella for a Bright Night” sells for about US$40 and includes illumination built inside the umbrella top. The product is meant for use on dark roads at night during rainy days for safety purposes.

The krypton bulb light emits a soft light to help prevent accidents in instances of low visibility. Additionally, the umbrella material itself is made of a water-repellent coating.

The new safety umbrella seems like an excellent product to have on an escort boat during low visibility conditions or at night when a swimmer is swimming parallel to an escort boat. The umbrella is a good solution when bright lights are not desired because they might attract marine life.
