16 Hours 43 Minutes, Tremendous Effort In North Channel

16 hours 43 minutes from setting off in Ireland and coming within 1 mile of the Scottish coast, Pat Gallant-Charette‘s dream of completing the North Channel came up so frustratingly short.

However, the unforgivable coastal tides were just too much for the Lady from Maine who was traversing the famed channel under the guidance of pilot Quinten Nelson,

The day-long effort was tremendous for the nurse who gives it her all every time she hits the open water.
