Swimmers know the dangers of swimming near the rocks while in the open bodies of water. Bruises, bumps and scraps can occur if swimmers are picked up by a wave or swept by the currents.
But, swimming near these rocks is cool.

They originally formed on the sea floor when the mudstone was accumulating during the early Tertiary period some 60 million years ago.
