2. USMS has caught up to FINA and USA Swimming on butterfly stroke kicking: “101.3.3 Kick — All up and down…scissors kicking movement is not permitted.” This is the well deserved END of butterfrog. This should be reflected in the proposed WOWSA 10.6 description for openwater butterfly kicking. The new USMS rule became effective September 25, 2013.
