Yuko Matsuzaki Is Big In Turks & Caicos

Yuko Matsuzaki is big in Japan with newspaper columns and books on marathon swimming. But she is even bigger in Turks & Caicos where she completed an unprecedented 21 km crossing between the island of North Caicos and Grace Bay, Providenciales in 6 hours.

The governor came to the post-race ceremony,” recalls the Japan’s Honour Swimmer in the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame. “The media covered the Swim Marathon Turks & Caicos very well here in Turks & Caicos, including the fundraising efforts of the Turks & Caicos Islands Swim Federation and Reef Fund..”
