Icebears Hintertux is a 3-day high-altitude, cold water swimming camp hosted by International Ice Swimming Association Austria between July 26th – July 29th in Hintertuxer Gletscher.
Austrian Josef Köberl is the host, together with Italian Paolo Chiarino, Dane Sinne Lundgard and other swimmers from Austria and the Czech Republic who will also attend. They will train in the Eispalast – doing glacier swimming in an ice chamber in 0°C water and 0°C air at 3200 meters in altitude in the mornings and pool training or open water swimming in the afternoons. The opportunities are specific training opportunities for channel and ice swimmers.
Additional Icebears Hintertux opportunities are repeated in September, October and November.
