Jamie Patrick Is Batting 1000
“I have a 15-year historical chart that my dad and I put together from July to mid September,” explains Jamie Patrick, co-founder of the Lake Tahoe Swimming Society. “The chart includes water temperature, air temperature, wind speed, and direction. Lake Tahoe is fairly predictable.”
And is Patrick himself.
As an escort pilot, the California dynamo was 8 for 8 during last year’s solo crossings of Lake Tahoe.
“I am piloting 9 crossings this summer. [I love] seeing people climbing up the beach at the other side.”
