The color green symbolizes balance and harmony.
Green is also the color of spring, of renewal and rebirth. It renews and restores depleted energy. It is the sanctuary away from the stresses of modern living, an indication of the restoration of a sense of well being.
Swimming in the open water provides us with a similar opportunity of renewal and restoration, a sanctuary away from the hassles, strains and burdens of terra firma.
