Craig Lenning Takes The 5th In The Cook Strait

Craig Lenning, swimming with his American buddy Darren Miller, finished his fifth channel in the Oceans Seven challenge.

With a circuitous course across the Cook Strait in 16ºC (62ºF) water in 10 hours 42 minute, the duo was helped with an all-star crew with Philip Rush and Shelley Taylor-Smith both in their escort and guide boats.

Lenning wrote on Facebook, “The swim went well. I appreciate all the support. The seas were nice, smooth, and cool. I enjoyed very much swimming with Darren and the hospitality of the New Zealand/Australian crew.”
