The San Clemente Ocean Festival is a typical California ocean swim:
* with a start and/or finish by a landmark local pier
* 1 mile or more in length
* beach start and finish
The 42nd annual San Clemente Ocean Festival offers a 1-mile swim, surf lifesaving races (dory, surf ski, paddleboard), surfing contests (SUP and Kids), 1 km and 10 km paddleboard races, Kid’s swim, a biathlon (1 km swim + 5 km run), Run-Swim-Run, a 5K beach run, a pancake breakfast, art show, sand sculpting contest, music concert and a woody car show
