Ana Marcela Cunha Takes Pro Race In Eilat, Israel

International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame member of the Board of Directors Neville Smith of Zwemza reported that Ana Marcela Cunha won Friday’s FINA 10km Marathon Swimming World Cup race over 28 other professional marathon swimming women in Eilat, Israel.

The Brazilian Olympian was first in 2 hours 2 minutes 53.15 seconds as she out-sprinted Germany’s Isabelle Harle by 2.5 tenths of a second. Italy’s Martina Grimaldi was 2 seconds back to captured third.
